Grup Șerban Holding (GSH, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, ticker GSH) announces the obtaining of the Certificate of Carbon Emission Results pentru anul agricol 2023.

The certificate, issued by Agreena, confirms that GSH’s climate responsibility efforts — through the large-scale implementation of regenerative agriculture practices — have resulted in the reduction and elimination of greenhouse gas emissions. Specifically, the certificate certifies a total climate impact of approximately 2,378 tons of CO₂ captured, of which about 2,140.19 tons of CO₂ are in the form of tradable credits, supplemented by a contribution of 237.8 tons of CO₂ to a risk buffer pool.

“Sustainable agriculture is for us not just an ESG objective, but a business strategy. Through no-till technology, responsible crop rotation, and minimal soil tillage, we aim to reduce emissions, capture carbon in the soil, and achieve healthier soils and more resilient crops. The certificate we received validates, through measurable indicators, the tangible climate impact of our practices,” said Nicolae Șerban, CEO of Grup Șerban Holding.

At the group level, GSH operates approximately 13,000 hectares, expanding each year the application of regenerative agricultural practices: minimal soil tillage, cover cropping, smart input management, and fuel consumption optimization. The targeted benefits directly include reducing the carbon footprint, increasing soil organic matter, improving drought resilience, and achieving more stable yields over time.
