Serban Holding Group was recognized at the Green Report Gala 2025 with the award for Excellence in Agri-Food, a distinction that honors the company's remarkable efforts in sustainable and regenerative agriculture.

The Green Report Gala, one of the most prestigious events dedicated to environmental protection in Romania, took place in the elegant Throne Hall of the Royal Palace under the theme "Elixir of Life. Water, More Precious Than You Think." The event brought together over 180 representatives from the Government, the diplomatic corps, the business sector, and civil society, serving as an opportunity to recognize initiatives that contribute to a greener future.

Sustainable and Regenerative Agriculture: A Central Pillar of Șerban Holding Group

Serban Holding Group focuses its activities on implementing modern agricultural practices that protect natural resources, support biodiversity, and reduce environmental impact. The award for Excellence in Agri-Food comes as a confirmation of our commitment to sustainability through projects that integrate advanced technologies and environmentally friendly solutions.

            • No-till tehnology: Over an area of 13,000 hectares, this technology eliminates traditional plowing, protecting soil structure and reducing erosion. By minimizing mechanical operations, we contribute to carbon sequestration in the soil and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

            • Cover crop: We incorporate cover crops into the agricultural rotation to enhance the soil's natural fertility, reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, and conserve moisture. This system regenerates the soil and supports biodiversity, providing a favorable environment for beneficial microorganisms.

            • Advanced irrigation and fertigation systems: With over 2.500 hectares under irrigation, we use modern technologies that optimize water and nutrient consumption. These systems are essential for combating resource waste and maintaining high yields under challenging environmental conditions.

            • The integration of Angus cattle in open grazing: Another example of our regenerative approach is the integration of cattle into open grazing systems, which helps improve soil quality and reduce dependency on chemical fertilizers.

    A Commitment to the Future

With a total cultivated area of 15,600 hectares, Șerban Holding Group is committed to developing an agricultural model that protects natural resources and provides sustainable solutions to global challenges in agriculture. The award received at the Green Report Gala is a recognition of our commitment to building sustainable agriculture, based on respect for nature and innovation.

Serban Holding Group remains a promoter of regenerative agricultural practices, contributing to creating a greener future for communities, agriculture, and the environment. Sustainability is not just a direction for us but a way to redefine agriculture for future generations.
